Stiles Headquarters Receives The Building of the Year (TOBY) Award
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA - Stiles is honored to announce that 300 Las Olas Place has received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). TOBY Awards are the most prestigious and comprehensive programs of their kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in office buildings and rewarding excellence in office building management.
During the competitions, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Of eight buildings competing in the 100,000 to 149,000 square foot category, Stiles won based on judging categories that included:
- Building standards
- Community involvement
- Tenant relations
- Energy management systems and procedures
- Environmental and regulatory
- Emergency preparedness and security standards
- Training for building personnel
Stiles Property Management was acknowledged for its implementation of green practices including the use of green cleaning products that are environmentally safe, Green Seal Certified, bio-renewable and do not contain volatile organic compounds that could compromise indoor air quality.
