Stiles Launches New Branding to Fuel Long-Term Growth
Full-Service Real Estate Company’s New Theme: ‘Invest. Build. Manage’
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Stiles today rolled out a corporate rebranding strategy for long-term growth, including a new logo and signage for the 5.6 million square feet the firm owns or manages in Florida. At its March 25 annual meeting, the full-service Fort Lauderdale commercial real estate company unveiled a new theme: "Invest. Build. Manage."
"For decades, our Stiles brand has been recognized statewide as a symbol of strength and expertise," said Chairman and CEO Terry Stiles, who leads the firm that was founded in 1951 and today is one of Florida’s industry leaders. "Our values of integrity, quality and serving the community will never change," he added.
He noted that the rebranding focuses attention on the company’s extensive track record in investment and management -- as well as its traditional strengths in development and construction -- to develop new business and continue growing in today’s challenging market. For example, he said that in the past year Stiles has attracted a roster of owners, investors and lending institutions seeking to reposition and sell distressed commercial properties. He also emphasized the company’s commitment to leadership in every aspect of "green" development, construction and management.
At the annual meeting, Stiles also introduced the company’s dynamic new blue and red logo, whose multiple dimensions reflect the firm’s capabilities in every aspect of commercial real estate. A new website launches this week: www.stiles.com.
Stiles President Doug Eagon said the company’s executive team expects the new branding strategy will be key in reaching prospective investors, partners and select third-party customers.
"Going forward, we see the three "pillars’ -- invest, build and manage – reflecting our full scope and advancing our market position," said Eagon. "Our team has significant in-house experience in the acquisition, repositioning and sale of existing buildings," he added, emphasizing the "invest" component of the brand. "Over the past six years, we have acquired and built a Florida portfolio of properties totaling more than $1 billion."
Stiles has long been known for its real estate design, development and construction management capabilities, and "build" was the natural second pillar of the rebranding strategy, said Eagon, who noted that 80 percent of the company’s construction work in recent years has been for third-party clients rather than Stiles’ own portfolio.
The company’s third growth area – "manage" – reflects its well-established leasing, property management, asset management and tenant improvement capabilities. With more than 54 buildings totaling 5.6 million square feet under management statewide, the Stiles organization provides a coordinated approach "that gives us the ability to execute for our investors and customers," said Eagon. "At the same time, we are owners ourselves and clearly understand the commercial property owner’s point of view. Our capabilities and perspective make us very attractive to the investment marketplace."
While the new logo, theme and redesigned website give Stiles a fresh, robust look and a focused platform for growth, Terry Stiles points out that the rebranding is based on the firm’s long tradition of excellence. "Our most important branding message remains the same," he said. "We are still Stiles, we are still the proven expert, and we are still providing the same high-quality service to our clients and partners."
