Stiles Expands Third-Party Retail Leasing Services

Latest Client has Five Retail Centers Statewide

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Stiles today announced statewide expansion of its third-party retail leasing services, adding staff in key markets and securing contracts to lease over 400,000 square feet of space -- including five retail centers throughout Florida owned by investors advised by Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI®).

“In growing our statewide leasing program, we focus on giving retail property owners the competitive edge through our team’s local market knowledge, regional and national tenant relationships in conjunction with full-service capabilities,” said Ryan Karlin, director of retail leasing, Stiles Realty.  The firm’s successful leasing track record ranges from grocery-anchored neighborhood centers and big box power centers, to ground-floor retail space within mixed-use developments.

In the last three months, clients have engaged Stiles Realty to lease more than 400,000 square feet of retail properties, including a contract with PREI to lease and manage these four Publix-anchored centers:

  • Lakeside Square, a 39,687-square-foot center in West Boca Raton
  • Military Crossing, a 64,052-square-foot center in Greenacres
  • Hammock Cove, a 72,197-square-foot center in Naples
  • Naples Lakes Village, a 59,863-square-foot center in Naples

Among other recent Stiles leasing contracts are:

  • A contract with PREI for The Shoppes of Las Ventanas, 42,000 square feet of street-level retail within the mixed-use Las Ventanas development in Boynton Beach
  • Midtown Village Shoppes, a 23,000-square-foot center in Pompano Beach
  • Arbor Square at Connerton, an 80,000-square-foot community center in Pasco County

Stiles Realty has just added two veteran leasing specialists to expand the company’s coverage of major Florida markets.  Tampa-based Heather Lannon will spearhead Stiles’ leasing activities in Florida’s Southwest Markets as well as the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets. She previously worked in retail leasing with RMC Property Group and Paradise Development.  Denise Leyendecker, a 14-year retail leasing professional, will focus on Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. She was previously with Synergy Retail Group, where she concentrated on landlord representation and land sales.  Stiles is also in the process of recruiting additional experienced leasing professionals to support its statewide expansion efforts.

Stiles’ retail leasing team is drawing on its expertise with mixed-use properties to market the new Shoppes of Las Ventanas, Karlin said.  The Las Ventanas development also features 494 luxury rental residential units and a 314-space garage, located at Boynton Beach’s high-traffic corner of Federal Highway (U.S. 1) and Woolbright Road.
