As an Associate, Chris is responsible for designing projects from conception to completion, including the design development, programming, space planning, production, and construction administration phases. Interacting with clients and the construction team, Chris also handles contract negotiations, schedules and budgets, as well as shop drawing reviews, field inspections, drawing clarifications and product approvals. He is also a member of the company’s strategic planning team and he mentors, supports, and manages project assistants. Chris has a clear understanding of the Florida building, life safety, and accessibility codes.
Chris has worked in the architecture industry for more than 17 years, including 15 in the South Florida market with Stiles Architectural Group formerly Architecture 6400, Inc. Before joining Stiles Architectural Group, he was with a reputable, medium-sized firm in the Midwest. He has completed a wide variety of public-sector and commercial assignments, including office, automotive, warehouse, and retail projects. Chris offers exceptional leadership and communication skills and he carefully considers individual project needs so he is able to deliver results that exceed clients’ expectations. Chris holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB).
