Julie Berry joined Stiles Realty in 1988. She specializes in corporate client representation in relocation and investment sales. A large portion of Julie's business includes identifying key office/ retail investment and development opportunities for her clients throughout the state and disposition of acquired properties. A broad knowledge of the various markets, products and the needs of her clients is the result of many years of experience, which is proven in her accomplishments, such as her recent closing of over $100 million dollars in investment sales and lease transactions.
Prior to Stiles, Ms. Berry worked for 7 years at Radice Corporation and served as Broker of Record and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Leasing on properties for development and disposition throughout the U.S. As a previous Landlord/Owner representative for Class "A" properties from acquisition to lease up, Julie gained knowledge of the development process, design, construction, building systems and negotiated leases of over to 2 million square feet of office and retail space in downtown Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas. Her recent significant sales transactions include the acquisition of a 60,000-SF building and 3 acre development parcel for $9.2 million, the disposition of a 128,000-SF vacated former BellSouth building to Tarragon Corporation for $9 million, and the acquisition of the Shoppes at Wilton Manors shopping center for $12 million. Her major lease transactions include the NationsRent, Inc. corporate HQ relocation for 43,560 SF, the Sunbeam Corporate Headquarters for 25,000 SF, the Renaissance Cruises lease for 88,000 SF and the Bank of America lease for 75,000 SF.
Ms. Berry holds a Bachelor's from Nova Southeastern University and is a member of the Broward Alliance Board of Directors and Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County. She is credited with being a Florida Real Estate Journal Top Women in Commercial Real Estate, and has won the prestigious Lease of the Year Award NAIOP South Florida and Co-Star Power Broker Award.
