Development 

Reed McLane currently serves as a Development Manager for Stiles Corporation.  He is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the real estate development process, including project conceptualization and planning, due diligence and financial feasibility analysis, architectural and engineering design, as well as obtaining all governmental approvals and permits, hiring and administering the construction contractor, and coordinating the financing, leasing, and sale teams on each project.

Reed began his career at Stiles in 2004 as a Retail Leasing Agent and was responsible for leasing Downtown Fort Lauderdale CBD retail space as well as other complex mixed-use projects. He then joined the Real Estate Investment Services division as a Real Estate Associate and was responsible for creating and maintaining a database of over 150 retail merchants that allowed Stiles to identify retail prospects for new development, redevelopment or acquisition opportunities.  He was also responsible for site selection and the initial feasibility studies for new development opportunities.  Prior to joining Development he served additionally as a Real Estate Analyst and was tasked with underwriting acquisition targets that included everything from CBD office buildings to regional power centers.

Prior to joining Stiles, Reed was enrolled in Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and in Real Estate.  He continued his education while at Stiles and received his Master’s in Business Administration from University of Florida in July of 2010.
