Scott MacLaren is Senior Vice President of the Real Estate Investments (REI) group at Stiles Corporation.  REI is the business development arm tasked with sourcing new acquisition and development opportunities throughout the State of Florida and select Southeastern United States markets.  MacLaren is primarily focused on development and redevelopment of neighborhood shopping centers, build to suit office opportunities, the acquisition of distressed properties and loans, and the acquisition of new land development inventory.

Prior to his current position within the company, MacLaren served as the Managing Director–Palm Beach County, directing Stiles Corporation’s real estate investments in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. In this capacity he was responsible for identifying opportunities in new commercial development, acquisition and redevelopment throughout the region.

Since joining Stiles Corporation in 1999, MacLaren has been involved in all aspects of sales, financing and asset management, as well as development activities. He has handled transactions and financings for the company totaling more than $500 million and has directed numerous ground-up development projects.

Prior to joining Stiles, MacLaren worked in corporate finance with the Sony Corporation. A licensed Florida real estate salesperson, he is a graduate of Leadership Broward.

MacLaren is actively involved in numerous professional and community organizations, including National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Urban Land Institute, Boca Raton Planning and Zoning Board, University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board, Soccer Association of Boca Raton, and St. Joan of Arc Church. With his wife Adrienne and three children, MacLaren is a resident of Boca Raton.
