Stiles announced today that Vice President of Stiles Architectural Group (SAG) Blaise McGinley has been promoted to President, following the recent retirement of Jeff Peal. Through Peal’s 38-year tenure as the head of SAG, the group has grown into an award-winning, well-respected design firm within the architecture and construction industries. “His contributions are immeasurable and countless,” said Stiles Chief Operating Officer Steve Palmer.

SAG has built a strong reputation in South Florida along with a long list of legacy clients including City Furniture and El Dorado, both of which are 20+ year relationships. As McGinley transitions into his new leadership role, Peal will remain a consultant, supporting SAG and helping to manage our largest accounts while the team focuses on developing new business throughout Florida. In connection with this, Project Architect Kevin Cruz, who joined Stiles in 2016, has been promoted to Vice President. Kevin has been a major asset to the team, adding a valuable set of skills and experience in the office, retail and automotive sectors.

In addition, SAG welcomed several new design professionals to further expand the groups breadth of talent and BIM technology platform. Amongst these are Nathan Hoofnagle, an AIA licensed architect who is relocating from New York, where he honed his skills at international design firm HOK. Hoofnagle is a graduate of FAU and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University. Versed in Revit, Grasshopper and Dynamo software, his recent project highlights include four Times Square interiors, multiple high-end residential projects, the renovation of the United Cerebral Palsy building and an adaptive reuse project along the Hudson River.

Daniel Leal has also joined SAG as Architectural Project Assistant. He most recently served at Beame Architectural Partnership in Miami, where he worked on a wide range of retail, office and mixed-use projects. Daniel holds a master’s degree from the School of Architecture + Community Design at the University of South Florida. Nathan and Daniel are amongst recent appointments including Trevor Wilson, who is being promoted from Junior Project Manager to Project Architect, and Felix Lubin, a Revit/CADD manager focused on fully integrating SAG into BIM technology.

“As we move forward, our focus is set on growth, broadening our client offerings and improving our technical innovation platform,” said McGinley. “With new talent, expanded skills and a strong leadership team, we are truly excited about what the future holds for SAG.”
