Recognizing her leadership in promoting and advancing the commercial real estate property management industry in Florida, Stiles Property Management president Chris Rotolo has been named president of the Building Managers and Owners Association (BOMA) Florida.

“I am honored to have been selected to lead BOMA Florida alongside my respected industry peers and colleagues,” said Rotolo. “BOMA has become a very powerful organization for the real estate industry, acting as a catalyst for discussion, positive change and innovation. I am committed to furthering that effort by bringing new ideas to the platform, initiating constructive dialogue with property management professionals throughout Florida and nationwide, and bringing to light the most important issues that impact the future of our industry.”

As BOMA Florida President, Rotolo will chair four statewide meetings per year while spearheading government affairs and advocacy topics to support BOMA’s lobbying efforts. As part of this, she will lead “Tally Day,” an annual trip to Tallahassee that encompasses personal meetings with legislators regarding industry legislation. In addition, Rotolo will help to launch new programs and industry advancements on a statewide level.

Rotolo has been engaged with BOMA at the local, regional and national level for the span of her career. Most recently, she served as an officer of BOMA Florida for the last four years before being named as President. She was also the past board member and president of the BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches chapter.

With more than 25 years of industry experience Rotolo currently manages executive responsibilities for Stiles’ 16 million square-foot portfolio of managed properties as well as all three divisions of Stiles Property Management, including tenant improvements, maintenance, and management. She is recognized for producing many of Stiles’ most innovative and successful programs including the company’s customer service program, which offers on-call, 24-hour service to tenants. In addition, Rotolo is credited with creating the company’s standard operating procedures manual, which serves as the official guide to Stiles’ management and maintenance operations.

BOMA Florida consists of over 1,500 members representing most of the office space and buildings in the State of Florida. This organization not only includes Owners/ Property Managers, but, various types of associate members servicing the commercial industry such as HVAC, engineers, carpet suppliers, roofing contractors, appraisers, painters, lawyers, and more. BOMA Florida is federated with BOMA International, which is an International federation of nearly 100 local associations and affiliated organization.
