Construction Starts at University Research Park Mixed-Use Development, Leasing Kicks Off with Starbucks
Posted on 12/1/2022

"We're pleased to be teaming up with Taylor Morrison to bring a walkable, mixed-used community to the University Research Park," said Justin Siemens, President of Stiles Carolinas. "We look forward to providing a quality retail experience to both the Park's existing employee base and the growing number of people taking up residence within the Park as it continues to expand its residential offerings."
The project is ideally situated at the intersection of West Mallard Creek Church Road and Senator Royal Drive at the entrance of one of the nation's largest research parks consisting of 2,200 acres and 10 million square feet of office space. Starbucks will occupy a 2,225-square-foot freestanding building with a double drive thru at the main intersection and DECA Dental will occupy a 2,400-square-foot space fronting West Mallard Creek Church Road. Foundry Commercial Senior Vice President Tommy Trimble is handling retail leasing for the project.
The Stiles Carolinas team is also underway with 110 East, a 370,000-square foot, transient-oriented Class A office tower in Charlotte; Camden Exchange, a 30-story, luxury residential tower in Charlotte; and Grove 98, a 70-acre Wegman's-anchored mixed-use development in Wake Forest featuring a retail center and residential community.
